First Star Recycling proudly recovers materials from residents of Omaha, Lincoln, and surrounding communities. Every year, Americans throw away recyclable materials worth billions of dollars. Our list of accepted item continues to grow, we also accept the hard-to-recycle plastic materials that are collected in an orange bag and sent to First Star Recycling in the recycling bin.

• Paper Products - paper packaging, magazines, envelopes, junk mail etc.

• Cardboard - paperboard boxes, soda boxes, pizza boxes, paper towel rolls, etc.

• Plastics* - plastic containers, plastic bottles, milk jugs, deli style containers, Tupperware, etc.

• Metal - Aluminum cans and bottles, soup cans, tin cans, steel cans, etc.
